Padella, Borough Market

Situated in London’s food haven Borough Market, Padella presented an interesting design challenge; how to create a vibrant, casual dining restaurant where most of the property is in the basement. We fabricated a front window marble counter where commuters can watch chefs roll fresh pasta early mornings and later, customers can comfortably dine. Past the coveted kitchen bar seats, stairs lead to a buzzing high ceilinged basement, in op art tones with a touch of understated glamour.
