Like the city that gave Detroit Pizza it’s name this location has a hardworking history, having been a bakery, tailors and restaurant during the past 100 years or so. To pay homage to this story we kept much of the buildings original features, framing, rather than covering the patina’d tiles, concrete flooring and weathered glass. Downstairs, simple honest, materials such as cork tiles for the bar front breeze blocks for the foot rest mix with comfy booths to give an instantly welcoming, low key mood. Wipeable checkered cloths, vintage bentwood chairs and glowing neon beer signs make the first floor sports bar the ideal place to watch the game. A place to happily lose a few hours.
